Bouquet of the Day

I found this Bouquet of the Day on Style Me Pretty.

I know this bouquet wouldn't work that well for my wedding because it doesn't fit my color scheme. However, I still wanted to share it because I loved the arrangement. It just looks so sweet!

Bouquet of the Day

A quick little lunchtime post. 

I came across this gorgeous bouquet on Style Me Pretty.  According to the blog it is a mixed arrangement of purple hydrangea, deep plum tulips, blue curiosa roses, purple double lisianthus and muscari.

I love this bouquet because of all the texture. The different shades also make it look so soft and romantic. I think I would like it better if it had more green in it.

Bouquet of the Day

First I must pat myself on the back for being an overachiever blogger. Clearly the past week of posts makes up for months of slacking. I have so many posts now that it goes onto another page.

So onto the Bouquet of the Day. I came across these gorgeous flowers on one of my favorite bridal blogs Ruffled.

 

At first I was baffled by what these mystery flowers may be. After extensive research (and by extensive research I mean I showed them to Deanna and she theorized, then googled) I discovered they may be poppies.

Deanna's further google searching resulted in the discovery that they are very likely papaver oriental poppies. 

I must say, it is very handy having an officemate who not only has a knowledge of flowers, but is more than happy to find the exact flower you are looking for.

I love the dark purple center with the delicate white petals. I would be a very happy bride if I had these in my wedding bouquet.
